Last we left off... The Tempests journeyed North into Zaan's homeland, the frozen region known as Rokasing. As with much of Archeron, Rokasing was in a rough way. According to the Jarl of his hometown, many of the able-bodied fighters had gone East to Volsung where other Rokasinians were gathering to handle this cultist threat.
The Tempests headed East themselves, though it was a slow journey. Deep snows covered the path, requiring Cassie to deploy her spider-like legs often to make it through the heavy snow drifts. This did give the Tempests plenty of time to reach out to family, old friends, and acquaintances to ask for aid in the coming fight. They knew roughly where the cultists were, but not precisely where. Their hope was to learn more once arriving in Völsung.
After taking the better part of a week to travel across Rokasing, and encountering a disturbing, cannibalistic Giant Elk along the way, the Tempests have finally laid eyes on the capitol city, Völsung.
We rejoin them now as they descend down the slope towards the makeshift camps gathered outside the city's main defensive walls.
